Cambridge University Riding Club provides activities for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced riders. Our aim is to promote the enjoyment and learning of equestrian enthusiasts. Whether you are a seasoned competitor leaving a horse at home, or just fancy trying something new, CURC is the society for you.
NEWS & UPDATES
12/5/12: Plans for Easter term:
- There won’t be a competition at Yelling due to lack of entries. Fast hacks for advanced riders will be going out from Springhill as soon as this nice sunshine dries the ground out enough.
- At some time this term, there will be an opportunity to ride go Cross Country jumping at Worsley estate on Hill Top horses. In order to be allowed to sign up for this opportunity, riders must have been approved by Sharon during a jumping lesson at Hill Top. Good riders who generally don’t take lessons but would like to do cross country, please bare this in mind. Again, subject the ground drying up.
- We’re having a picnic in Newnham in May Week. Bring some food. Clear round jumping, Puissance and gynkhana. No horses, dress so you can run and jump.

17/1/12: Intermediate/Advanced riders. To cope with the rising cost of petrol and to compensate for many lessons not being completely full, we have to ask those who are driven to their lessons to pay an extra 50p from 20/1/12. Thank you.
