International Mathematical Olympiad 1995 (North York (Toronto), Canada) Scores

At the 1995 IMO held in North York (Toronto), Canada, 412 contestants from 73 countries competed. 30 gold medals were awarded to those scoring at least 37; 71 silver medals were awarded to those scoring from 29 to 36; and 100 bronze medals were awarded to those scoring from 19 to 28.

The maximum individual score possible was 42 (which 14 contestants attained). The mean individual score was 18.951, with a standard deviation of 11.676. The following table shows how many contestants attained each possible score.
