The Assassins' Guild: Mayweek 2008 Game Awards

For various achievements and entertainments, the following awards are presented:

The Lemming Award for the first to die:
Edward Morland, keeping up a good old Trinity tradition.
The Holzhauer Award for psychopathy:
Will Brooks, and Jake Corteen, who both killed over 30.
The Jake Corteen Award for dying far too many times:
Edmund Croft managed 15. So did Emma Pewsey, but she was aided by frequently standing too close to Steve McCann.
The 'Do you have my fish?' Award for excuse least likely to get someone to open the door:
Joshua Guy Blanchard Lewis for "Jake is duelling Twillo, can we have some backup?" which incredibly lured Stephen Shenton from his castle.
The Alvin, Simon, Theodore Award for most amusing triple-act:
Ed Heaney, Steve McCann and Emma Pewsey, who banged each other night and day.
The Order of the Black Coat for application of the art of disguise:
Alicia Danks, for using her grandmother as cover.
The Darwin Award for death by stupidity:
Alex Atkins, for ruining an excellent sneak attack on Jake Corteen by only stabbing him in the arm.
The Reversed Burden of Johannes Award for unintentionally killing innocents:
So many people were bad this game. But the prize has to go to Carol Sparke, who killed two, albeit not terribly innocent, innocents.
The Catherine Zentile Award for least innocent innocent:
J Doe, who continues to put in more effort than most of the live Assassins, and who also part-built a tank, something no actual player had done for at least five years.
Richard SI Gibson, who was inserted into the autoumpire database to fix it, managed to convince much of the game he was playing, and kept editing himself back in when he was removed! Not content with this fiendish ploy, he also convinced a player to shoot him, kept giving himself vast bonuses and molested the Umpire!
The Brutus Award for best betrayal:
Tom Wootten for the post-pirate punting backstab.
Judas Iscariot:
Jen Berry, for forgetting about the no-kill she had made five minutes earlier.
The Yellow Streak Award for impersonating Michael Wallace:
Luke Bennett, who channelled the spirit of Michael Wallace even to the extent of threatening to set up FurSoc.
The 'Ginger Cake' Award for the 'smoothest' kill:
Paran Oid for killing Will and Alicia outside Sidney Sussex May Ball, and Alex Atkins, whose second sneak attack on Jake was crowned with success.
The David and Goliath Award for Best Giant-Killing Activity by a New Player:
The New Hall/Murray Edwards/Nashville Mafia collectively, for killing almost all of the players who headed to New Hall on the first evening, and most subsequent raiders.
The Obfuscated Tutorial System Award for silliest pseudonym:
Amy Booth, for "Will 'I have more money than sense, and I'm in debt.' Brooks"
The Part III marking scheme:
Tom Wootten for "No-one"
The Kit Jenkins award for most foolish pseudonym:
Will Brooks for "All the cool kids psuedonyms end in /", which:
a) misspelt "pseudonym" and
b) used the wrong slash.
The Harland Quinn Golden Quill for the most amusing reports:
Emma Pewsey, for her auditing.
The Mad Monk of Quirm award for most original weaponry:
Alicia Danks for the fairy dust and the 5,973,600 trillion kg planet.
The Zaphod Beeblebrox award for style:
Carol Sparke for making several kife kills.
Alex Atkins for generally being Alex Atkins.
Luke Bennett for killing two MAs at once.
Alicia Danks for dressing up as a fairy.
