ABOUT THE MEETING VENUE

Fitzwilliam College is one of the more modern Cambridge colleges, and was refounded on its current site in 1966. It is about fifteen minutes walk from the town centre, and boasts a spacious hill-top location. Formal dinner in the Main Hall will be provided on Monday evening.
The meeting will be based in the Wilson Court building, designed by van Heyningden and Haward. The large marble floored entrance hall leads to four meeting rooms and a common room and bar. Beyond this is the Gordon Cameron Lecture Theatre, where the talks will be held, which is fully equiped with audio visual equipment and tiered seating for 60 people.

Organisers: Dr James Elliott (Cambridge) and Dr Stephen Paddison (Alabama) ã 2004. University of Cambridge.
