British University Team Championships

CUB entered a team comprising Maciej Hermanowicz, Tim Craig and Kingsley Warren into the action-packed BUTC, held in Nottingham. The team put in a valiant effort, but were unfortunately eliminated early in the head-to-head, by a slim one-point margin.

CUB Summer shooting

Several CUB archers have been competing during the summer. The first shoot was the Fenland archers St George, which was attended by Carrie, Matt, Stuart, Rohan and Tak. Carrie was the sole lady shooting the St George and in the process broke the club record with a respectable 590. She also lead the CUB team of Carrie, Matt and Stuart to second place in the team St George event behind Jolly Archers.

The second shoot was the CCB Windsor the week after. Here the club had a team of Carrie, Matt and Tak with Carrie winning the ladies recurve trophy, Tak setting a new club record and the team beating both CCB and Jolly archers to take the team trophy. Congratulations all round.

Finally Carrie and Matt attended the Norfolk Double FITA Star where Carrie placed 6th in the Double FITA and also in the 70m round, setting the club record for both. Matt was seeded 23rd of 66 in the gents.
