Cloak & Dagger The Assassins' Guild: Autoumpire CSS Competition

Help design the MayWeek look!

The autoumpire team would like your help!

Whilst we are all excellent coders (and witty, smart and engaging as well (-; ), we suck at design. So, anyone who knows how to use CSS (or is willing to learn) and fancies changing how part of the guild looks, this is your chance.

There is no deadline as such, but we'd like people to send things in (even only partially done) as soon as they can. We'll pass all of them on the the umpire to decide which one should be used.

The Task

The task is to design a nice looking, easy to use interface. We have supplied a sample set of pages that your CSS will be applied to. You can do anything you like that doesn't change the HTML and is just in the CSS. If you think that you could do some extra-super-nice interface by just adding the odd <div> or <span> element, or a class or id to an existing element, then check with us, we'll almost certainly add it in for you, but we need to check.

You can come and join us in #autoumpire on kern if you want to chat about it, or email us at assassins-autoumpire-devel@srcf.ucam.org.

The sample pages

For reference, the nav tabs are currently displayed in a menu such as this. There is no restriction that the interface should look like the main page or like this example, but I thought the menu required some explanation as without CSS it looks a little odd.
