WILD FOOD WALK - SOLD OUT

- Another date available!!

Interested to find out more about wild food growing in our local area? Tasty, highly nutritious and free; you don’t even have to go that far... in fact, we’ll show you.

Join us for a WILD FOOD WALK with a local wild-foodie to see what edible delights are within walking distance of the centre of town. Ever rustled up a wild food feast? This will give you some great insight into how to go about it. I’d particularly recommend wilted nettles on buttery toast with a runny poached egg, dandelion root ‘coffee’ cake and punchy wild garlic pistou.

Details:

Wild food walk with local wild foodie Jacky (some of you may recognise Jacky from our brilliant cheese tasting event).

Where: Coe Fen; meet on footpath in front of The Granta Pub near the Mill Pond

When: Thursday 3rd May 2012, 6:30pm (until approx. 8pm)

Price: £4 per person

Booking: Please email Lindsey (lmb81@cam.ac.uk) to reserve a place.
