Summer is nearly here, which means it is once again time for our annual cricket match against the Adams Society of St. John’s.

TMS members of any experience level at all are welcome, you needn’t be an experienced cricketer (though if you are, we’d certainly like to hear from you!) If you’re interested in playing, e-mail our captain, Prof. Ben Green.

Venue: St. John’s Playing Fields
Time: 16/06/2008 12:00

Join us to watch, or take part in, our annual thrashing of the St. John’s maths society, the Adams Society. First played in 1953, the TMS have won the majority of these matches, including the last nine consecutive years. The TMS are looking for members willing to take part in the match; cricketers of all abilities are welcome to take part, in fact we are especially looking for first and second year students who haven’t taken part in this event before. If you are interested, please contact Graham Sills (gs300), our team captain with your details.

The match will run for only a few hours, so will finish in good time for those who are attending the Trinity May Ball to get changed and in a good place in the queue.
