Edwin is a popular figure around the village, as he can often be seen working on his farm which lies in the lowlands around the river Fawn. As a result he reaps excellent crops, much of which is sold on into the village. He can regularly be seen in the village pub sharing stories over a pint with his friends, however he has seemed gloomy of late, and has admitted that he is struggling in the current economic climate .
