This is where you will find my maths things.

My research interests are in analytic number theory and additive combinatorics. For example, I am interested in Waring's problem and possible generalisations. I have written a short introduction to Waring's problem for non-mathematicians. There are two versions: I prefer the slightly longer version, but there is also a shorter version for people in a hurry.

I have recently started a new blog, Theorem of the week, aimed at people who are not expert mathematicians. If you look at the site, please feel free to leave a comment!

NRICH (I am part of the team that helps with Ask NRICH, the 'ask a mathematician' service, and I spent the summers of 2005 and 2006 working for NRICH - see below).
The Millennium Mathematics Project (which includes NRICH and also other projects, such as Motivate, which runs videoconferences for schools. I have taken part in several of these).
The United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (the organisation responsible for the UK Maths Challenges and Olympiads, amongst other things).
The BMOS Intermediate Level Mentoring Scheme (for which I am a mentor, having previously written the sheets and solutions for three years).
The Trinity Mathematical Society (I was Vice-President from 2003-2004, and President from 2004-2005).
The Archimedeans (the Cambridge University Maths Society - I edited Eureka 56).
