Films we have seen recently and did we like them or not

• Vashka and Ed went to see The Others and they thought it was dead good although very very scary. Kalli has seen this film too and he liked it so it must be good because he knows all about which films are good.
• Everybody went to see Harry Potter (in fact Katie went to see it lots) and we all liked it. But it was not as good as the book.
• Oh dear we have not been updating this page at all. The last film we saw was Monsters, Inc. which was really funny and also made Vashka cry (almost).

Plays we have been to see and did we understand them or not (and how well directed were they)

• Gill and Vashka and Katie went to see the Scarlet Pimpernel at the ADC. It was a pantomime. Anthony, a boy from our college, was in it. We thought it was very funny and that Anthony was very good. Afterwards we had mulled wine in the ADC bar and we felt very cultured and grown-up.
• Also at the ADC recently was The Master Builder which is by someone famous called Ibsen. We were not quite so keen on this, but we felt it was very well directed.
• We went to see Keir in A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was dead good.
• We also went to see Keir in something else, but I have forgotten what it was called. It was quite interesting cos it was in the dark, only it wasn't dark, and when there was light it went dark.
