TUESDAYS PRACTICES STRUCTURE FOR SPRING/SUMMER

Following on from Jon's email below, I've listed the revised squad for the summer at the bottom of this mail. This is a group which will have 'closed' advanced training together on Tuesday evenings on Jesus Green from 6pm, providing a basis to train towards playing at Tour in the summer while also meeting the City Council's guidelines for our appropriate use of Jesus Green. NB For squad members this is in addition to Thursday and Sunday sessions, not a replacement of them.

Please note that this is not a fixed group - just a list as it stands currently. There will be on-going opportunity to become a member of this squad - the other sessions will remain as they are currently and will provide us with the opportunity every week to see the progress everyone's making (and if you're particularly keen to improve and get stuck in more then please introduce yourself to me/jon/aidan at a practice). Therefore whether you're in the squad or not, please do keep turning up for throwing and game time on Thursdays from 6pm and for a full practice on Sundays from 11am, both on Jesus Green.

So, the practices in summary are now:

Tuesdays, 6pm, Jesus Green: invitation-only squad practice
Thursdays, 6pm, Jesus Green: open to all throwing and game time
Sundays, 11am, Jesus Green: open to all full club practice

Regarding commitment to tournaments, we're hoping to launch a new part of the website (www.strangeblue.org) soon that will let you sign up to upcoming events, so watch this space...
