TOWN VS GOWN - THE BIG GAME!

The Town v Gown game will be this weekend, following a shortened Sunday practice (which everyone should be turning up for as usual). We will likely start the match at high noon. Some of the townies have already fled the country in fear, but I'm told there are a few foolhardy souls still around and ready to be humiliated.

The students will be represented by those who played in the first team this weekend plus a few others who I will contact shortly. If you played on the 1sts and cannot make it, then please let me know asap.

Regarding Sunday, it is important that everybody turns up on time - i.e. boots on, ready to start at 11. Sunday practices are the best opportunity to practise structures as we are far less constrained by time or space as compared with Friday astro. As such, it was extremely disappointing to see so few people out last week as we should have had a really strong session in the run up to regionals. I know a few people were away, but the number of squad players attending was ridiculously poor. Having said that, those who turned up (inlcuding non-squad players) did really well; we had an excellent session and some of the hard work was evident this weekend.
