to Khiva
Uzbekistan
is connected to major European and Asian capitals by air. The main international
airport is located in Tashkent. One can also reach Samarkand and Bukhara
directly from Moscow.
The airport
nearest to Khiva is located in Urgench approximately thirty minutes
away by car from the conference venue and major hotels. There are three
daily flights between Khiva and Tashkent. More adventurous routes are
also possible by train or car.
