If you don't already know, I'm a student researching for a PhD in arithmetic combinatorics under the supervision of Tim Gowers in the University of Cambridge, where I'm also a member of Trinity College. I am 6'4" (nearly). I like karate and port, which is why in my youth I was President of two very fine institutions, Cambridge University Karate Club and the Trinity Mathematical Society. Various pictures of myself and others are available. View at your own risk. Historical (and probably selective) peak-flow meter statistics are also available. I may be contacted by post at the address Trinity College, Cambridge, CB2 1TQ. My email address, should you not be able to work it out, is pjs59 AT cam DOT ac DOT uk. Below is a list of various things I like. Karate, Beethoven, Radio 4, crosswords, formal, port, piano, music, Private Eye (and Cyclops), Bertrand Russell, Paul Smith, Unsu, Ronald Binge, Ippons. If you came here looking for a picture of a placenta, you will be disappointed. Dr Matthias Dörrzapf's website may be of more interest. Some people care that this page is valid HTML. I don't. |
