slides
I gave my talk! There were roughly 90 people there, including about 15 women. (Which, if that doesn’t sound impressive to you, should be compared to the number of female Debian developers—currently around 4.) The slides are online here; if you’ve got any questions about them, or want to find out more about exactly what I said, let me know.

The only females I know who like beer are already geeks! An interesting set of slides - please do give more information about the talk itself, and about the questions that were asked afterwards if any.

please could you provide more details of your bugsquashing activities? I am very disappointed. I had no idea this is what you were up to. I thought we raised you to look kindly on bugs of all kinds.

I was at the two most recent UKUUG Winter Conferences. Last year there was about one woman there, out of about 100 participants. This year there were about 5, probably because one of the speakers was a woman - at least that’s what made Rachel think seriously about attending, rather than just dismissing it as uninteresting.

Great slides, Hanna, I wish I could have been there to hear you!

Yaaaaaaaaay! Is it patronizing to say I’m proud of you? I really wish I could’ve been there, but I’m so happy it was a success. Your slides absolutely rock. Yay again!

Hi Hanna, sad that we could not meet! I was there Saturday but I could not attend Sunday, therefore I missed your talk. Fortunately, I could check out your the slides, which are very nice!
Congratz & cheers, Laurent.

I really enjoyed your talk, Hanna! Even though I’m not using Debian, so not directly involved, I think this is a very interesting move that some other distributions could use as well.

What presentation tool did you use? MagicPoint?

Your presentation was great! In your blog you should have mentioned that the room was overcrowded, and half of the people left as soon as you were done - Matthew and his thoughts about DFSG was obviously less interesting :-)
