port-o-rotary

A while ago I blogged about Pokia—retro handsets for one’s cell phone. Today, I heard about the Port-O-Rotary—a portable cellular rotary phone! Yep, that’s right, it’s an old-school rotary phone, but it has no wires, and you can carry it with you to the pub. (And the webpage contains instructions for fashioning one yourself.) Damn right, I want one!

    Portable Rotary
    Spark Fun Electronics’ Portable Rotary, from Hanna Wallach’s post - Very inventive. Reminds me that I still have an old pulser back in my apartment in Makati, and it still has its ringer. Classic! I might as well recycle it. :D
