Congratulations! You made it through your undergraduate years successfully.  Now, you can begin to enjoy the pleasures of graduate life. Cambridge is a great place to be a graduate.  The university boasts more than 5000 graduates, with numerous societies and activities to keep you busy.  You may find that, after the initial heady excitement of freshers' events, your life becomes centered around your research and your college. Increasingly, it may become a challenge to meet people from outside your usual circles. 

The Graduates Dining Society is geared towards meeting this challenge. This society is dedicated to helping grads meet and mingle. The GDS organizes dinners, cocktail parties and other fun events for graduate groups. As a member, you will be invited to formal halls, pot-luck dinners, autumn walks and picnics, pub crawls, etc!   There is no membership fee. You can decide what events you wish to attend, depending on what takes your fancy. Whether you are looking for a fresh pastime, new companions, or simply want to try other Colleges' formals, the Dining Society is the right place to begin your search.
