Final Score: Cambridge Blues 10 - Exeter 2
On a surprisingly warm day for mid October, the Women’s blues headed out for their third BUSA match of the season. Not knowing what to expect from a seemingly keen Exeter side, the whistle was blown and Exeter won first centre. After several minutes of fairly static play, Exeter suddenly had a fast break situation, and the first goal of the match was scored against the Blues. However, Cambridge was not going to be easily defeated and soon a fantastic goal was shot by Kate Morland to equal the scores. The defence remained solid for the rest of the game, and the attack managed the shoot some great goals, with Veteran Lea Michaels scoring her first ever Blues goal. Other goals came from George Rose, Emily Knight, Adele Fauvet and Ellie Walshe resulting in another convincing win for Cambridge.
