Cambridge University Lacrosse Club

You will find here maps and direction to the playing grounds of Men's, Women's and Mixed teams. For team members, there are also directions to the lesser used training grounds that may be used on occasion.

Queens' College Sports Ground (Men's and Women's)

Directions:

1. Leave the M11 at Junction 12
2. Take the A603 towards Cambridge
3. Go straight across the roundabout.
4. The Queens' College sports ground is the first turn off on the right. If you reach the King's and Selwyn College sports ground, then you've gone too far.

Corpus Christi College Sports Ground (Mixed)

Directions:

1. Leave the M11 at Junction 12
2. Take the A603 towards Cambridge
3. Once in Cambridge, turn left onto Grange Road (opposite 'Hat and Feathers' pub)
4. After you pass Sidgwick Avenue on your right, take the second left into 'Leckhampton'
5. The Corpus Christi College Sports Ground is at the end of the road

St John's College Sports Ground

Directions:

1. Leave the M11 at Junction 12
2. Take the A603 towards Cambridge
3. Once in Cambridge, turn left onto Grange Road (opposite 'Hat and Feathers' pub)
4. Continue on Grange Road until you pass Clarkson Road on your left
5. You should now be able to see the St John's College Sports Ground on your right
6. Turn right, just after you pass the pitches, through a low black metal gate
7. Follow the 'road' through the grounds to park behind the club house

Directions to training grounds from centre of town:

Corpus Christi College Sports Ground (Leckhampton)

• Go down King's Parade, passing King's College on your right
• At Ede & Ravenscroft, turn right onto Silver Street
• Follow Silver Street to the junction with Queen's Road
• Cross Queen's Road and continue straight ahead along Sidgwick Avenue
• At the end of Sidgwick Avenue turn right
• Take the second left into 'Leckhampton'
• The Corpus Christi College Sports Ground is at the end of the road

Jesus College Sports Ground

• Go up King's Parade, passing King's College on your left
• Turn right past Great St Mary's Church down Market Street
• At the end of Market Street turn left into Sidney Street
• Take the first right, down Sussex Street (more of a passage than a street)
• At the end turn left onto Hobson Street
• Follow Hobson Street round into King Street
• Cross the roundabout at the end of King Street onto Victoria Avenue
• The entrance to Jesus College Sports Ground is through the first gate on the left
• The Old Hockey pitches are on the right hand side after you pass the sports ground parking

St John's College Sports Ground

• Go up King's Parade, passing King's College on your left
• Turn left past the Senate House down Senate House Passage
• At the end turn right into Trinity Lane
• Take the first left down Garret Hostel Lane
• At the end turn right onto Queen's Road
• Continue along Queen's Road until you come to a sports ground on your left
• St John's College Sports Ground is entered through a gate opposite the back of the college

Wilberforce Road Sports Ground

• Go up King's Parade, passing King's College on your left
• Turn left past the Senate House down Senate House Passage
• At the end turn right into Trinity Lane
• Take the first left down Garret Hostel Lane
• At the end cross Queen's Road onto Burrell's Walk
• After you pass the University Library, bear right over a small bridge and up to a set of traffic lights
• Cross Grange Road onto Adams Road
• Wilberforce Road Sports Ground is at the end of Adams Road on the left
