I am currently a second year PhD student in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at the University of Cambridge, where my supervisor is Professor Ian Grojnowski, and I am funded by an EPSRC studentship. I am also a member of Christ’s College, where I studied as an undergraduate. My interests lie in algebraic geometry, particularly its interactions with abstract homotopy theory, and non-commutative algebraic geometry and its role in homological mirror symmetry. I’m also a keen musician - I play oboe and organ as well as conducting - and also enjoy astronomy, hiking, cooking, comedy, theatre, cinema and cricket.
