VSC Open Day 25-Feb-2006
Dear friends,

On Saturday 25 February, the Vietnamese Society in Cambridge (VSC) are going to organise an open day for potential Vietnamese undergraduate applicants to the University. Our aim is to provide practical information and advice for those who are targeting a place at Cambridge University. This would cover an introduction about Cambridge and the colleges, insights into four popular subjects (Economics, Engineering, Natural Science, Mathematics), financial aid & scholarship opportunities, and essential interview techniques. Furthermore, participant will have the chance to meet many current Vietnamese students reading various subjects in Cambridge as well as some of this year offer holders. So we would like to invite all of you who are interested.

Also, we would be grateful if you could fill out the following survey to help us arrange things in a way that fits you best.

1. Your name. (Please state your name as written in your certificate of birth)
2. Which A-level college (or other type) are you attending?
3. Which subject do you intend to apply for?
4. Are you able to arrive in Cambridge by 11:00am? If not, what is the earliest time?
5. Do you plan to go by train or by coach ? In group or individual ?
6. Are you interested in knowing more about:
a. Subjects
b. Colleges
c. Interview preparation
d. Financial aid opportunities

There would be a brief morning tour around Cambridge for those who are able to arrive early. The tour will start at about 11:00 am. The main session shall last 3 hours, starting from 2:00 pm. Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us through either of those e-mail
