Freshers' Week
A fun-filled week to get you initiated into the vets' way of socialising! Your Pre-Clinical Rep is the lovely Luella Hitchcock (Welly). Please contact her if you need to about any matter to do with Freshers' Week or any other pre-clinical query you may have.
Sunday 7th October 2007 Visit the Vet School Meet Welly and Nicky at 2pm outside Queen's College gates to walk together. Come up to the vet School for 3pm to meet the Committee, find out vetty things, take a tour of the Vet School, vote for your new Year Rep, get some freebies and free pizza! BRING YOUR CHEQUEBOOKS for CUVS membership, Cherry Party tickets and AVS tickets.
Monday 8th October 2007 Pub Crawl 8pm start in "The Bath House" and we take it from there! Challenges will be set at each pub with drink prizes for the winners. Promises to be your best night in Cambridge so far, just ask the second years what happened last year... Theme: Lab coats and boiler suits.
Tuesday 9th October 2007 Vet Sports Time and location TBC.
Wednesday 10th October 2007 CUVS Talk Title TBC. 7pm in Lecture Theatre 2 at the Vet School. FREE PIZZA! Free to CUVS members, £1 for non-members.
Friday 12th October 2007 Cherry Party 7pm at the Vet School. THE Freshers' event of the year. Make some new vet buddies, socialise with other colleges, cheap drinks, snog some clinicals... Tickets available in advance from your year rep at £6 non-members, £12 for ticket deal including CUVS membership. Tickets cost more on the door. |
