The annual UK vet social weekend, mainly drinking and partying... not much sport.

Friday 9th November 2007

The Vaults, D1

Food served from 8pm, and four of Ireland’s best DJs playing this venue - it’s got different rooms for different tastes and it’s gonna be just the thing to kick off a weekend to remember (or not!)

Saturday 10th November 2007

All over the place

The usual breakfast with your Irish hosts and then off to DCU for the actual Sporting part of the weekend!  With lots of sports organised all afternoon you can be a champion footballer or a drunken spectator, we don’t mind!

Then it’s back into town for a pub crawl around some of Dublin’s coolest spots, that will lead us blindly back to the Helix - and this is where the madness really starts!

Dinner will be served from 8pm and then kick off the evening with the traditional Dirty Birds for their last AVS ever!!  They’ll be closely followed by some local talent and then the Saw Doctors - the best from the West who’ll show you a real Irish session!

Sunday 11th November 2007

Roll into town whenever you’re able for a full Irish in Messrs Maguire’s, right in the heart of the city.  After that you’re free to enjoy all that Dublin’s pub scene has to offer before going your separate ways and returning to normality for yet another year…

Tickets are scarce so get in touch with your AVS Rep (Nat Haddon or Karmen Watson) and get yours fast!
