The Committee

The Executive Committee deals with the day-to-day running of the society.


It consists of the following officers:

  • President: Oversees the running of the society, chairing meetings and organising events. The President for 2012-2013 is Megan Williams
  • Treasurer:Oversees the junior treasurer and reports to the president / SU. The Treasurer for 2012-2013 is Jim Blackshaw
  • Junior Treasurer: Looks after the society's money day to day and keeps accounts. The Junior Treasurer for 2012-2013 is Geoff Willoughby
  • Secretary: Responsible for communicating with the members of the society, and organising meetings. The Secretary for 2012-2013 is Rosemary Warner

In addition to the Exec, there are other committee members for 2012-2013. They are:

  • Armoury Minion: There is no armoury minion for 2012-2013
  • Banquet Minions: Rosemary Warner and David Proctor
  • Website Minion: Christian Bates
  • Safety Officer: David Proctor.  The Safety Officer may appoint deputies for when he is unable to attend events.
