Most memorable travel experience: Prague (2002) during the extreme flooding. I was woken up at 4am and evacuated from my hotel by lifeboat. Powerful scenes of devastation and despair in the old city centre.

Most memorable travel experience: Seeing the the Golden Temple in Amritsar at night, watching the ceremony of moving the Guru Granth Sahib out of the Temple and eating in the Langar Hall.

Most memorable travel experience: meeting boris becker in the neue pinakothek in munich. ooh and bathing in mud pools in costa rica.
Best holiday: going to barcelona with miss wright :-P and also shacking up in a teepee-shaped cottage in the outback of germany.
