Images

The middle of the three photos at the top of this page is based on a portrait of famous Trinity alumnus, Sir Isaac Newton, painted by Enoch Seeman in 1726. The other two pictures are (edited) photos of some of this site's creator's maths—specifically, the left picture is from a Part IA Differential Equations examples sheet, and the right picture is from a Part IB Geometry examples sheet. So now you know. Wasn't that interesting?

The sketch of the Great Hall and S Great Court on the calendar page is reproduced with kind permission of the Trinity College Web Site Secretary.

The end bit

This web site was created by Paul Smith in 2005. It is hosted by the very kind people at the Student Run Computing Facility (SRCF).

Current ideas for extending the site:

  • Cartoon images of former Committee members, especially Presidents and Gavin Johnstone.
  • More info on the squared square table - in particular, look up the reference given on the bottom of the table.
  • Add more historical info to the 'About the TMS' page.
  • A section for LaTeXed minutes of selected meetings.
  • Some photos...

Please email the webmaster if you would particularly like to see these or with any other comments or suggestions for the site.
