Calendar

The TMS holds four speaker meetings during each of Michaelmas and Lent terms, and is inactive during Easter term except for the annual cricket match against the Adams Society. The Annual Dinner traditionally takes place towards the end of Lent, and in recent times a television-style game of Mathematical Call My Bluff has been played just before the Christmas break.

TMS talks take place on Monday evenings at 8.30pm, in the Old Combination Room (OCR), Trinity College. There are directions to the OCR on the Trinity College web site here (the porters will be happy to direct you if you get lost). Complimentary port and orange juice are served from 8.15pm. Entry to meetings is for members only, but non-members may join on the spot.

At the end of the meeting the President drops an apple to declare the meeting social—this means that everyone is invited to join us in the bar.

The annual cricket match against the Adams Society which will take place in May Week. More details are to be announced soon.
