Queens Ergs 2009
A knockout time trial race held on the Cam. Two crews start with approximately 30 metres between them and race to the finish. The fastest time goes through to the next round. Men's Coxed Fours race from the little bridge (next to the A14 bridge) to the railway bridge, Women's Coxed Fours race the length of the long reach to the bumps finish at Chesterton.
University Fours 2009
Trinity Hall Boat Club took a fleet of 5 crews to the  Huntingdon Boat Club Head of the River 2009. Three of our four IV+ crews won their category (M1 - Men's IM2 IV+, M3 - Men's Novice IV+, W1 - Women's Novice IV+) and the M2 IV+ and Rob Thornton in the single scull put in excellent times.

The final event of Michaelmas term, the Fairbairn cup is a head race on the cam over 4.3km for senior VIIIs and 3.4km for senior IVs. It was first held in 1929 and is named after it's founder, the influential oarsman & coach Steve Fairbairn.
