|   | As Christians we believe that although we were created by a holy and perfect God, everyone has chosen to reject his rule.
Because he is just and holy, God cannot ignore this rebellion, and the punishment we deserve is death. However, God still loved us and so gave his son,
Jesus Christ, to take our place and die the death that we deserve. Through faith in Jesus' sacrifice we can be forgiven. TCCU exists to spread this wonderful
news by making Jesus Christ known to students in Trinity College.
We are part of the Cambridge Inter-Collegiate Christian Union (CICCU) which is a member of The Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF).
Our main aim being to spread this exciting and important news, we organise events within the college and participating in university wide events led by CICCU. Once a year we participate in a central Main Event - last term we took part in cross-examined, this involved some excellent talks by Philip Jensen and Simon Scott in the Guildhall, and various other events all across the university. As well as all this, we meet together to be encouraged by studying the Bible, praying and singing together in our weekly meeting on Wednesday evenings, and in prayer meetings throughout the week. |
