Recall that West cashed the CA, then switched to the D8. East won with the king and returned the D2. At our table South ruffed with the SA, hoping to make 4Sx when West had doubled on just four spades, reasoning [I think] fairly that when West had five spades he was doomed anyway. Not today though, for the full deal was as shown.
