New Committee

It's that time of year when we will soon be voting for a new committee to take over the Stokes Society, and we'd like you to think about running for something - the society has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is lots of fun to be involved with, so if you think you might like to run, let us know!

This does not commit you in any way, but if you are thinking of running please let Ellie, our President, know on the email address above, so we can get an idea of interest. If you have any questions about any of the positions, do also get in contact either through Ellie or directly with the relevant person and ask them all about what they do, or check the Committee page for a description of the role.

Hustings will be held in the New Common Room, Pembroke College, at 7pm on Friday 9th May. If you are interested, please come along. There will be an opportunity to chat to the current committee members about their roles, and see who else is running for the various positions. If you wish to run for a position, you will be asked to submit a manifesto and then the Society will vote. Handover dinner will take place part way through Easter Term, with the Garden Party being the first event by the new committee.
