CICCU exists to make Jesus Christ known to students in Cambridge

This page gives you a brief ides of what goes on during a typical week in John’s CU and CICCU.

Monday, 8-8:50am: CICCU Morning Prayer Meeting, Henry Martyn Hall

A super way to start the working week, usually praying together through a passage, plus a chance to share prayer points with people from other colleges. There’s often some singing too!

Wednesday, 7.45-9.30pm: John’s College Group CU meeting, Dirac Room (Fisher Building)

The main weekly meeting for each college group throughout the university. A big chunk of the time is spent in Bible Study (mostly in 3 groups), but it also includes time for prayer and worship.

Friday, 8-8:50am: Friday Morning Prayer, B17 Cripps

A chance to pray throught the passage from the college group meeting, as well as prayer for the college and university as a whole

Friday, 1-1:50pm: Friday Lunchtime Talk, Fitzpatrick Hall, Queen’s College

Not just a free lunch(!), the Friday Lunchtime Talks (FLTs) are a chance to listen to a guest speaker faithfully explain the Gospel to believers and non-believers together – so, a great evangelistic opportunity for you with your friends.

Friday, 5-7pm: Harry’s, Henry Martyn Hall

Harry’s is an evangelistic coffee bar run by CICCU for international language students.

Friday, 7:30-9:30pm, Globe, Henry Martyn Hall

Globe is for international undergraduates.

Saturday, 6-8pm: CICCU Central, Eden Baptist Church

CICCU Central is the weekly meeting of all the college groups in Cambridge, where great prayer and worship happens, as well as a talk from a brilliant guest speaker.
