MCR Welfare InformationIntroductionThe MCR Welfare Officer helps and advises on all welfare–related topics ranging from issues such as health and finances to subjects like discrimination, security and religion. Graduate students' lives are often focused around their respective departments, which can be quite isolating. The MCR committee and Graduate Tutors run several events specifically for Graduates each term from Graduate Suppers in the Old Library to fortnightly Graduate Formals and a weekly Film Night in the MCR. These events are a fun way to get to know people from a broad range of backgrounds studying a wide variety of disciplines and we encourage your participation. Details of upcoming events can be found on the MCR website and if you have any ideas or would like to introduce another activity please contact the Social Secretaries. Life in Cambridge is often very fast paced so it is best to tackle worries as soon as they arise. There are numerous confidential support services available within Cambridge should you have any problems or need any advice. On this website we have included some important information, links and contact numbers for resources covering a wide range of issues which we hope will be helpful. Web links
