Photo submission
To prevent external image submission, and to allow us to monitor who has posted each image in the event of a complaint, you must log in using Raven to submit a photo.
What is Raven? How do I log in?
Raven is a service provided by the University Computing Service to identify people using websites. We have chosen to identify our users in this way because all members of the university should have (or be able to receive almost immediately) a Raven password. Your username is almost always your CRSID - usually the first bit of your e-mail address, CRSID@cam.ac.uk. If you don't have a Raven password, in most cases postgraduate students can collect one online.
What are the rules for photo submission?
You must not submit any image which might be expected to cause offense - such images will be removed, and repeat offenders will be banned from submitting photos. Your Raven user ID is stored with the images you submit while they are in the User Gallery, so we can identify people who have submitted inappropriate or offensive material.
What details are stored? Can I label my photo?
While submitted images are in the user gallery, they are stored with the user ID of the person who submitted them. Photos relating to MCR events are likely to be grouped together by the Committee - once accepted in this way, the user ID of the person who submitted it will no longer be stored. If you want your image to be identifiable you should enter your name when uploading it; it is also very helpful to enter a description that will identify the event. Please note that no other information will be received or stored (and specifically, your Raven password is never revealed to us by the authentication server).
How do I report a problem or complain about an image?
If you have any problems with logging in, or if you want to report inappropriate material, please e-mail us at:

or click the link (after logging in) in the photo submission page.
