Presenting at Russgrads

Dear fellow Slavists,

This Michaelmas term marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the Cambridge Russian Graduate Seminar Group, which will be running throughout Michaelmas and Lent terms at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages every other Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm preceded by drinks and followed by a dinner.

We hope that you will join us this term in attending or presenting papers at our seminar. If you wish to present a paper, the paper length should be between 30 and 40 minutes followed by questions. The atmosphere is generally informal since Russgrads is a student-run seminar attended by postgrads and faculty members.

We leave the subject of your paper to your discretion since the aim of the seminar is to address a wide range of topics and periods pertaining to the Slavonic world.

We really hope that you will be able to join us this year! If you are interested in giving a paper, please contact me at: av347@cam.ac.uk

Or if you are interested in our events, please join our mailing list at: http://www.srcf.ucam.org/mailman/listinfo/russgrads-list

We hope to see you soon at Russgrads!
