B1-4The men move forward a double to centre and fall back a double to places.
5-8The women do likewise.
C1-4First couple leads forward a double to centre and falls back a double.
5-8First man and first woman turn with right hands.

D1-4Each man turns his partner with the right hand, passes her on and turns the next woman on his right in a like manner and proceeds in this way round the ring, counter-clockwise to his place.

B, C, & DThe three figures B, C, and D are executed as many times as there are couples. In the first repetition, however, the second couople, instead of the first, will initiate the C movement, in the second repetition, the thord couple, and so on. After the last repetition of these three figures the dance is brought to a conclusion as follows:-.
