  1. Summary of the year
    1. Easter 2006
      • Small choir sang at a Wedding
      • Garden Party — as much a social event as a concert. Not money making. Informal, low-key event
    2. Michaelmas 2007
      • Freshers' Fair
        • Must ask CUSU for a place at the freshers' fair before summer.
        • Maybe have two lists: one for band, one for choir
      • First rehearsal
        • About 100 people came to first rehearsal
        • Must have Ice Breakers and STICKY LABELS!!!!
      • Turning on the lights
        • May or may not have got paid ~ £50
      • Christmas Concert
        • Publicity — not enough, and not early enough
        • Not enough songs, so last minute panic for cabaret
        • Didn't charge enough
        • Very Early booking required for West Rd
        • Change of venue? Saves ~£450!
    3. Lent 2007
      • Mastana
        • Not a good plan
        • Must be selective about extra concerts
      • Easter Concert
        • Ran to schedule
        • Forward planning
        • Used contacts
  2. Constitution:
    • Proposed Changes
      • A I "Cambridge or Anglia Polytechnic University" to be changed to "Cambridge or Anglia Ruskin University"
      • A V "Members of the choir shall pay a termly subscription to cover running costs (squash, photocopying, subsidising travel for the National Rep, etc)." to be deleted.
      • C Two additional posts on the committee to be Webmaster and Publicity Officer
      • D "At least 50% of the paying members of the choir must vote for the amendment in order to pass it" to be changed to "At least 50% of the attendees to the AGM must vote for the amendment in order to pass it"
    • Votes: For—16, Against—0
    • Motion Passed
  3. Outstanding Stuff:
    • CDs:
      • No recording License, but it was suggested that Richard might be getting the Recording License, and that Simon might (disputably) have signed something.
      • Toby wants Rev to apply for a Recording License. We would need a license for each CD
      • We need to look into (from National perspective as well as Cambridge Rev) copyright laws/royalties etc.
    • Committee Positions
      • We need to check with Emma that she is definitely ok to be on the committee.
    • University Syndicates
      • Technology based grants from the university
      • The money could be used to hire/buy microphones
    • Music
      • We need to push the forms about arrangements at rehearsals to give back to National Rev.
      • Music is most useful in a pdf format, this we should also push at rehearsals
    • Concerts
      • West Rd has to be booked very early
      • It was decided that a Thursday or Friday were the best options for concerts
    • Trinity College
      • Not booked for 14th May
    • Kim Roper was duly elected as Secretary

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." Colossians 3:12–14
