Intercollegiate Quiz Challenge (ICC)
The Intercollegiate Championship (ICC), is the societies most prestigious event,
with a distinguished pedigree extending over several years. Presently the competition is held over
several weeks in Lent term. The Society Committee attempts to allow as many teams to take part as
is practical.
To prevent any bias, the questions are purchased from BuzzerQuiz and are read by
committee members. The 2004-2005 Championship was notable for its use of a large screen projector
to keep the players and audience aware of the score at all times, as well as such inane statistics
as the conversion rate, and individual performances.
If you are interested in taking part in the ICC in the future, we recommend
that you join the society (no membership fee), so that you are guaranteed to be kept up to
date with all updates and changes in the details.
Prizes
Besides the glory attained by winning the ICC, you also receive a trophy (pictured below).
The winning team also get a bottle of wine each.
