Pub Quizzes at
 QuizSoc Bun Shop quizzes are currently running every Wednesday. The Cambridge University Quiz Society runs weekly quizzes at the Bun Shop on King Street. These are on Wednesday evenings, with questions starting at 21.00 sharp. The quiz consists of 8 rounds of 5 questions (worth two points each), and the ever-popular puzzle section. The puzzle section is normally worth 40 points and can be made up of things like crosswords, picture rounds, number puzzles, dingbats etc. There are also regular music rounds and observation rounds with DVD clips. The quiz costs £1 per person to enter, with a minimum £4 a team. The maximum team size of 6 people is strictly enforced. The prize for the first placed team is £50, with a pitcher of beer going to the runners up. The team coming last also gets a round of drinks of the barman's choice. In addition, every team gets a free plate of snacks whilst they complete the puzzle section. Due to the popularity of the Bun Shop quizzes, it is not unusual that teams have been turned away; please turn up early to avoid disappointment! Past results can be found here: |
