How to Get Involved
There are lots of different ways in which you can get involved in what QCOEF does, from contributing to the fund to becoming a committee member and taking on some of the responsibilty of managing your own colege charity.
Making a Donation
Making a donation is very simple but different for Queens' and Clare Students. Queens' students can sign up to donate termly during Freshers' week and you don't need to be a Fresher to do so. Clare Students can add 5, 10 or 20 pounds to their termly bill by adding the donation to the cheque - ask at the Bursar's office when making the payment.
QCOEF only asks for small donations from students but this adds up to a lot very quickly. £10 on top of a termly bill is a very small proportion.
When you are paying to study at one of the best universities in the World, please spare a thought for those who are much less fortunate.
Seeing what's going on
Each term the QCOEF committee will send out information about the projects which have asked for money and invite the students of Queens' and Clare to attend the allocation meeting. All students are always welcome at meetings and we will try to keep you updated with times and places. Keep an eye on this website, the Facebook group and your email account.
Joining the Committee
No amount of involvement and help will ever be discouraged and Queens' and Clare students can join the committee at any time in the year. There are some specific roles, like Secretary and Chair, for which elections are held in Lent term each year.
