I’m currently a Second Year Law student at Queens’ and am really excited to be co-Chairing QCOEF this year. After spending a considerable amount of time working as a volunteer in Africa over the past couple of years, I’ve realised that the field of international development, particularly the education sector, is a real passion of mine and an area in which I am eager to become more involved. As well as this role with QCOEF, I also act as the Charities Representative for CUSAFE, which is very useful as it enables me to liaise between the two committees. With the little spare time that leaves me, I vice-Captain of the college football team.

I am a third year psychology student at Clare. I’ve been involved with QCOEF since my first year and so I’m really exicited about being co-chair. I’ve been interested in fundraising since secondary school, and this is something which I’d like to continue doing throughout this year and after univeristy. Apart from my time spent with QCOEF, I volunteer for a local homeless charity.

Katie O’Donoghue

I’m a third year historian at Queens, and I am secretary on the QCOEF committee. I have a keen interest in international development and humanitarian issues and am really looking forward to helping organise this year’s events and fundraising. In my spare time I sing in Queens’ Chapel Choir and Chamber Choir, play the violin and piano, and do the odd bit of writing for some of the university’s student newspapers.

Hannah Miller

I’m a second year studying politics at Queens’. I’m the treasurer for the committee and so deal with all things financial, ensuring your donations are looked after and safely transferred to the charities. I am also treasurer of the college JCR, so I have a lot of contact with the treasury!

Lizzie Skinner

I am a third year vet student at Clare. I am proposals coordinator for the QCOEF, meaning that I am the main point of contact between the charities applying for funding and the QCOEF committee. In addition to this, I volunteer with the Stimulus scheme in a local school and I am treasurer of Clare Bar.
