Lecturer:
PROF. ROGER MARTIN, Dean and Professor of Strategic Management and
Integrative Thinking, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto;
Corporate Director, Research in Motion (RIM) and the Thomson Corporation;
Author, The Opposable Mind: How Successful Leaders Win Through Integrative
Thinking (Harvard Business School Press, 2007)
Discussants:
TADDY BLECHER, President, CIDA City Campus (lives in Johannesburg, CIDA web
site - www.cida.co.za <http://www.cida.co.za/> ). Taddy Blecher was employed
as a consultant at Monitor & Company in South Africa, he left to start the
first free university in South Africa. CIDA City Campus provides higher
education to the poorest black students in the country.
DR. VICTORIA HALE, President and CEO, Institute for One World Health
(www.oneworldhealth.org (lives in San Francisco). Using her expertise from
positions held at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centre for
Drug Evaluation and Research and Genentech Inc., Dr. Hale designed the first
non-profit pharmaceutical company. One World Health provides affordable and
effective medicines for diseases afflicting the poorest parts of the world.

5:00-5:30pm attendees arrive
5:30 sharp-7:00pm lecture, discussion, as well as a question and answer
period
7:00-8:00pm reception (host bar wine, beer, soft drinks, snacks)
8:00pm adjournment
