15 Apr 2nd Annual Haliburton Literary Evening   

Once again timed to take place on the second evening of the London Book
Fair, Network Canada and the University of King's College (Halifax) are
delighted to announce the 2nd Annual Haliburton Night. Canadian authors,
playwrights and poets will read from their own works in the intimate
ambiance of a London pub. There will be a chance to meet the authors, buy
their works, and participate in raffle prizes. Full details will be posted

01 Mar 08  *  88th Varsity Ice Hockey Match: Oxford vs. Cambridge
The Oxford-Cambridge rivalry is the oldest ice hockey rivalry in the world,
with the first match dating back to 1895. The Oxford University Ice Hockey
Club is second only to McGill University as the world's oldest ice hockey
team, and the team is a mixed group of Canadians, Americans, British, and
various European nationalities. Public ice skating is possible before and

03 Mar 08  *  88th Mediating Polish-Jewish Relations After the Holocaust
What is the future of Polish-Jewish relations? This talk engages with
multiple narratives of Poland and Polishness circulating in diasporic
stories of survival, migration and return, in both Europe and the US (Poland
as a site of trauma, a graveyard, or an imaginary homeland). Dr Dorota
Glowacka from University of King's College, Canada, author of numerous
