Dear Canadians and Friends,

The 88th Varsity Ice Hockey match between Cambridge and Oxford is taking
place on March 4th. This historical rivalry dates back to 1885 when they
played with blazers, straight blades and no helmets (would a gentleman
ever wear a helmet?). Since then, there has been CBC press surrounding
the event, and many Canadians continue to take part in this annual
contest that's been noted in the Hockey Hall of Fame as the longest
ongoing hockey rivalry in the world. So please come out and help us
drown out the Oxford supporters!

Date: Sunday, March 4, 8:30 pm
Place: Peterborough
Pickup: Buses have been arranged to pick up supporters at 6:30 pm on
Queens Rd by Silver St.
Cost: £10 with game+bus or £5 at the door.

For tickets send a cheque payable to CUIHC to the team captain Chris
Hurn at Pembroke College or for more details email him at ch399 at cam.ac.uk

Yours truly, dishing out the hits,

Hank
