Hey Canadians,

The High Commissioner is taking applications for Canadians "who wish to be 
admitted to the Royal Enclosure" at the Royal Ascot races, June 19th-23rd.

New applicants normally need to be sponsored by existing "Royal Enclosure 
badge holders who've attended more than eight times", but it seems the 
Canadian High Commissioner counts in that category - see link.

Has anyone been before? Seems like it would be an interesting experience, 
especially with all those crazy confectionery hats. Men are obligated to 
come up with morning suit, waistcoat, and top hat - though there is an 
exception for 'national dress' (!)
