Watch this space for the unveiling of Network Canada's forums
(electronic - not the Roman sort). Have a
question for the Canadian Community? Trying to
sell something and move home? Need a flatmate?
Need (a) new friend(s)? Do it here soon...very
soon. Once we have it up and running (including a
comprehensive FAQ) we will post the month's
busiest discussion threads in this newsletter so
you can see what people are talking about - maybe
you can help answer a question for a newbie.
The charity, The UK Ice Cats, who offers free
hockey lessons to disadvantaged kids, is looking
for hockey instructors and volunteers. Their aim
is to reduce social exclusion through the power
of hockey. The sessions run every Thursday night
during the season at Alexandra Palace ice rink,
from 7pm - 8.45pm. They have been very successful
over the last two years - the CBC even aired a
story on the UK Ice Cats on 'The National' on 7
March 2005. This is a great chance to use your
hockey skills for a good cause and to help raise
the profile of the sport here in the UK! Please
email

if you are interested in getting involved. Check
out their website at

Walcountian Blues Men's Lacrosse Club is looking
for players of any age and ability to join the
club for the forthcoming season. We currently run
two senior men teams, which compete in the South
of England Lacrosse League. The Blues are located
in South London near Croydon and we currently
employ two US local development officers to
assist with coaching at the club and in local
schools. We are a fun, sociable club with our own
ground and clubhouse. We play a robust,
competitive but inclusive style of lacrosse and
it is a club policy that everyone who joins us
will see playing time. For more information,
