President: Nick Dixon-Clegg

The JCR president is, alongside the rest of the committee, the main contact point between the undergraduates and College. Our job is to represent your views and interests to them so that we can try to make your lives better – so if there is something that you think needs to be raised or improved, please do come and speak to me or another committee member, so that we can raise the issue and see what can be done. I meet with senior fellows at least fortnightly, sit on the coordinating committee and engage in sundry other officious business with the corridors of power, giving ample opportunity for your voice to be heard. It is also my job to keep the day-to-day business of the JCR running smoothly and to your convenience, responsible to you at open meeting.
I am a rapacious consumer of hall food, so the best way to find me if you wish to discuss anything at all is in lunch and/or supper most days, on top of my formal “surgery hour” from 12-1pm each Monday, beginning in hall and thereafter in the JCR. Alternatively, drop me an email (ngd28) or put a note in my pigeon-hole, and I can either reply directly or we can arrange to meet face-to-face if you prefer.
