First Year Representative: Ashley Abrahams

Hello, I’m Ashley, and as First Year Rep, if you are a future fresher, it’s my job to look after you and ensure you get to know each other and the existing members of the college and help you settle in as smoothly and, importantly, enjoyably, as possible.

My role mainly involves organising Freshers Week, which, if I’ve done a good job, should be extremely enjoyable, while helping to make sure you all have a great time at the best college in Cambridge! (I’ll even trolley you back home if, as someone inevitably will, you pass out under a hedge). I also assign College Parents and Children and, with the aid of the Freshers Committee, I also write and distribute the Freshers’ Pack. I then remain First Year Rep throughout the year, so if you have any problems or issues you’d like raised at a committee (whatever they are) let me know.

I will offer a surgery on Friday nights in the bar from 7pm onwards
