Repertoire
From Peterhouse Chapel Choir
Like many of the Cambridge choirs, repertoire for the Peterhouse Chapel Choir is drawn from a broad range of periods and styles. However, the Choir especially draws on the music transmitted in the Peterhouse Partbooks made for the first Chapel Choir in 1635. Alongside the greatest works of the seventeenth century school of English choral music, many fabulous and relatively unknown works are also transmitted. The Peterhouse Chapel Choir often delves into this repertoire, giving the chapel a distinctive choral style and sound.
